Bucket List 2016: Top Aims For The Year Ahead

Bucket List

So, 2016 is very nearly here. Millions of people will be thinking about resolutions right about now. Let’s face it, though, the majority will fail. A far healthier option, in my opinion, is to make a bucket list for the year ahead.

This is far more productive as you can actively tick these items off your list. The only difficult part is coming up with inspiration. Thankfully, I’ve got you covered with these four fantastic suggestions. Employ them now, and 2016 will be set to be your best year ever.

Climb The Career Ladder

It doesn’t matter if you run your own business or work for somebody else. We all have aspirations of earning more money and claiming better job satisfaction. Now is the time to start working harder than ever to make those dreams come true.

For many, money is the main indicator of how work is going. Asking your boss for a raise can feel daunting. But if you handle it in an appropriate manner then you’ll have nothing to lose. If they do say yes, it could be the start of something special.

Take A Rewarding Vacation

Advanced technology has made international travel easier than ever. Nowadays, most of the population is accustomed to having, at least, one short holiday per year. In 2016, though, it’s time to get more from those vacations. After all, there’s a whole world out there waiting to be explored. Doing it sat by the pool in a Spanish hotel no longer cuts the mustard.

Real world holidays are a great way to explore the most beautiful parts of this planet. Not only is it a change from the normal vacation, but it will also give you a much deeper understanding of yourself too. What better way to enhance your life in 2016?

Fall In Love With Driving… Again

Personally, I’m far from falling out of love with driving. However, I do appreciate that many motorists will suffer mundane emotions at times. In either situation, attending top car shows is a great way to get those passions running once more.

Furthermore, true petrol heads can book track days to feel the adrenaline once more. After all, one of the most common reasons for losing that inspiration is the fact we tend to take the same journey day after day. This is a great way to spice things up. Besides, you couldn’t have a yearly bucket list without at least mentioning the car!

Run A Half Marathon

OK, so getting fit is one of the most common New Year’s resolutions. It also tends to be the one that gets forgotten by March. However, setting a genuine target can work as a great motivation tool. In 2016, running a half marathon is the ultimate answer.

If you want something a little more fun, there are plenty of obstacle courses and other events to sign up for. However, I must admit that the half marathon is probably the stand out challenge. To make things even more productive, try raising some money for charity too.
