This is a how to guide on removing the standard Suzuki Grand Vitara MK3 stereo in a 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara. You may be doing this to fit a hands free kit or the likes. Your stereo should look like the stereo below

- Flat Head + Philips Head Screw Drivers (Halfords)
Mini Socket Set (Halfords)Torx / Star Allen Keys (Halfords)
*Note above are general tools you should have when doing this type of job, but you may not need them, see tutorial for exact tools needed
Information
- If you are changing to a new stereo, you will require a PC2-68-4
- If you are fitting a Hands Free Kit (Parrot/Motorola) you will require a SOT-071
Steps
1. First you will need your trim removal tool, to start removing the silver trim around the sides of the stereo
2. Once you have removed the trim, you will have revealed 8 Philips screws you will need to remove
hi dear… really i need your help… i have i grand vitara 2009 v6 with built in gps (clarion QY5002S) and a parking sensor..lot of people tell me that you can not change it to new one coz its factory setting… is there any solution to get a new gps with correct harness… thanks and best regards!!!!
