The Clarke CTJ1250A Low Saddle / Low Entry Motorsport Jack [CTJ1250A] has to be one of the best jacks I’ve used so far. As both the Impreza and Focus are extremely low, my previous Halfords trolley jack would not fit under the cars (I was using a little wooden ramp I fabricated to allow the extra couple of inches of height before getting the Halfords jack under).
After all the fuss of driving up on the ramp (and coming off the other end on the odd occasion) I thought I would treat myself to a nice new low entry jack. After looking around, there isn’t much out there for low cars, and the Clarke one popped up time and time again, so I went and purchased mine from Amazon.
I’ve been using this for a while now, and take it with me on track days (as its extremely light, and packs away easily and compactly). The jack does certainly look the piece with its CNC’d parts and anodized blue and silver body. I cannot fault this jack at all, and would recommend anyone with a low car, or even if you do track days to buy one of these.
