It’s amazing how far technology has evolved, watching this video of the Worlds Largest Ship – Back in the day, ships were’ made out of nothing more than wood ya’ know. Watch how this ship is built just like you would an Ikea wardrobe, pre-assebled parts are connected together, then welded to create a water tight ship – Well of course it has to be water tight, else it would join ships as the Titanic at the bottom of the blue lagoon.
This video is a time-lapse of the “current” Worlds largest ship, the CMA CGM Marco Polo, but wont be for long, as other ship building companies compete to create the biggest ship. [via Gizmodo]
